    Sandblasting wood

I would like information on sandblasting interior and exterior wood. I have heard that one can sand blast painted wood trim (such as crown mouldings or wainscoting) as an alternative to sanding with sandpaper or using chemicals or heat.
i have not heard of sandblasting wood, i think this would leave sand particles embedded in the wood. if it is done, it would be using that white silica sand. i have heard of people using high pressure washers to peel old paint off housing and that type of work. by high pressure washers i mean water. these are available at any place that rents equipment
