Up to date comparison of gas furnace and air conditioning systems for
a 4500 square foot home in Potomac, MD. This house is concrete and
redwood siding with the back having 3 floors and the front 2 floors.
I am considering a 4 ton Amana or carrier unit with a SEER of 13 and
an energy efficiency rating of 80%. I am also adding an Aprilaire 700
humidifier and an electrostatic filter. Which is the better company
to go with for servic, continuity and repair frequency and cost? Both
installation companies are similar in quality.
